The Most Effective Teacher I have had to date was my Math Teacher in my senior year of high school, Ms. Chambers. Ms. Chambers loved her job and it showed when she taught her class. She cared for each student like he or she was her own child. She was open to answer math problems I didn’t understand and this made me comfortable and productive in her classroom. If Ms. Chambers noticed any of her students struggling in her classes, she encouraged them to do better and opted to have extra classes after school for anyone. With her interest of ensuring that everyone did well in her class it motivated me throughout the year to work hard and I was able to pass the Math BGCSE Exam and a B+ at the end of the year.
My Least Effective Teacher
Characteristics:

-
Not willing to explain new information/notes
-
Tardy
-
Nonchalant
-
Shows favoritism amongst certain students
-
Argumentative
-

My Least Effective Teacher was Mr. Hanna who taught biology. I consider him lazy when it came down to explaining new notes and information each class. In his classroom I had to figure things out on my own because whenever I asked a question I would get a sarcastic response each time. He also showed favoritism amongst some of my classmates and it left me discouraged. Due to the challenges I had with Mr. Hanna I became uninterested in his class and barely passed the class.
